For the use case of using load balancer in front of Connection Servers, error of "421" may return after upgrade the Horizon to version 2412.
This is because starting from version 2412, the installation directory path of Connection Server is changed from:
To a new directory path of:
And you may remember there have a configuration file named "locked.properties". Which is using to control the access regarding load balancer or URL alias. This file is being left in the old directory path and causing ths issue.
The action you need to do is cut the file form old path "C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\sslgateway\conf\".
And paste it to the new path "C:\Program Files\Omnissa\Horizon\Server\sslgateway\conf".
Restart the service "Omnissa Horizon Connection Gateway".
Access will be resumed after the action.
