Adding Horizon Resources on Workspace One Portal

Workspace One Access is one of the key component of our EUC product family. It is designed to provide employees with faster access to VDI, SaaS, web and native mobile apps with multi-factor authentication, conditional access and single sign-on.


Horizon desktops and applications are key resource types IT admin cloud publich with Workspace Once Access. This blog will show you how to integrate the Horizon infrastructure with the Workspace One Access portal.


Before adding the VDI resources on WSO Access, you should enable the SAML feature on Connection server first. You can following the section "7. Enable SAML on Connection Server" from following post.



After that, you can continue the setup on WSO Access.


  • Login to the Workspace One Access admin portal.

  • Click "Resources" page.

  • Click "Virtual Apps Collections".

  • Click "New".


  • Click the "Select" under the Horizon icon.



  • Click "Add a POD".


  • Key in the name of the Connection Server.

  • Key in user name and password with sufficient authorisation.

  • Click "ADD".


  • If the Horizon infrsatruction is configured with Cloud POD, please click to enable Yes for the Cloud POD option.

  • Otherwise, just click "Next".


  • Configure the sync schedule.

  • Click "Next".


  • Click "Save".


  • Under Virtual Apps Collections tab, select the integration setting just created. Click "Sync" and select "Sync without safeguards".


  • After a while, click the "Refresh" icon. The Sync Status should show completed without error.


  • User may login to the Workspace Access Portal again and will find the Horizon resources are available on the portal.
