Sometime user may complain the VDI takes a long time to logon to the Windows. There may have a lot of different reasons. IT admin somehow may find difficult to look into such problem.

To enable the monitoring feature is simple. Just follow the steps below.
Login to Connection Server.
Open the command prompt.
Run command:
vdmadmin -I -timingProfiler -enable
Repeat above steps on all other Connection Servers
Reboot VDI desktops.
To retrieve the logon time information, you can follow the steps below.
Login the Connection Server Admin URL..
On the top right hand corner, key in the user name.
Click the user name listed.
Click the computer name listed.
Scroll down the page to the bottom. And you will find the information there.
Besides, you could also enable the Logon monitor log on agent side. You can follow the steps below to enable.
Logon to the VDI desktop or master image where the agent installed.
Open the services.msc
Look for the "Horizon View Logon Monitor" service.
Set Startup type to "Automatic".
Click "Apply" and "OK"
Reboot the Windows.
And you will find the Logon monitor log available on agent Windows under following path.
C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Logon Monitor\Logs
